Before I attended university to study Graphic Design, I knew that it would not be my only point of interest. I also find myself drawn to both Creative Writing and Art History. My imagination was always the stem of any design process I completed. My inspiration comes from when I fell in love with literature, film, and music. All three of these components work hand in hand which each of my projects. I grew up in a space where my creativity was encouraged in all directions and all hobbies rather than one over the other.

           
Some of my designs consist of book cover designs for romance, fantasy, and thriller genres. My work explores the relationship that is needed between literature and the digital art being developed. I have a passion for portraiture, landscape, and experimental photography which I love to implement into my projects whenever possible. My photos appear through digital and manually crafted collages where they overlap with my use of typography and iconography. Similarly to a manuscript on a page, my designs have a story to tell. I want to take my work into the publishing industry with my cover designs. When my projects are used aesthetically for product and packaging designs, I keep all these ideals close to my heart.

My goal is that whoever views my works can find the meaning behind all my creative choices. When I look at my work, I see connections to my past, present, and what is to come. When I sit down to create, I collect my thoughts, turn on my speaker, and open my mind to creativity. My words are expressed through every pixel on the screen, every work of mine holds my story. I not only define myself as a designer, but also as a thinker, a creator, a musician, and a writer.
